Exterior Interpretive Exhibitry- Project Example 1

Brazoria County Parks, Texas

Project Description

Serving as a designer for Fermata, Inc.–a consulting firm in Austin, Texas, working to create sustainable communities, recreation, tourism, and conservation–I designed a variety of interpretive kiosk and wayside exhibits along the upper Texas coast of Brazoria County. The panels interpret rare coastal birds, wildflowers, butterflies, and other sea life along coastal nature trails, beaches, within dune lands, and nearby woodlands. In addition to educating visitors about the nature surrounding them, the panels instill responsible use

and stewardship of this

fragile environment.
