Groton State Forest Habitat Management

Project Description

Working with Ghostwriters Communications, a consulting firm in natural and cultural resources planning and interpretation, based out of Salem, New York, I designed three interpretive exhibits that describe a woodcock management demonstration area at Groton State Forest. The purpose of these exhibits is to explain to the public how various age classes of forests created over the last 30 years provide ideal habitat for courting, nesting, and feeding grounds for woodcock.
