I live and work in Shelburne, Vermont, nestled in the Champlain Valley along beautiful Lake Champlain. I am happily married and have two wonderful children. When I'm not designing graphic media, I love to run, hike, kayak, sail, and cross-country ski with my family. I also enjoy being creative in a nearby pottery studio, making beaded jewelry, designing perennial beds, and cooking gourmet meals.
Before starting MajaDesign, Inc. in 2002, I worked as a graphic designer and recreation planner for the Lake Champlain Basin Program from 1992-2002. While in that position, I helped launch several initiatives including: the Lake Champlain Wayside Exhibits Program, Lake Champlain Bikeways, and the Lake Champlain Paddlers' Trail. This experience, combined with my design background has allowed me to shape a unique niche as a graphic designer: connecting people to place while instilling a sense of appreciation and stewardship for our fragile natural and cultural resources.
