Vermont Institute of Natural Science - Forest Canopy Walk

Project Description

 

Working with interpretive planner and writer, Marina Richie, I designed 10 colorful, educational panels installed at strategic viewpoints along the new Vermont Institute of Natural Science Forest Canopy Walk. The canopy walk allows visitors to see the forest from a whole new perspective. Our panels help visitors savor and appreciate the meaning and significance of what they are experiencing. Our aim was for visitors to leave with a deeper connection with trees and a sense of what they can do on behalf of trees and the wildlife that depend on them.
