Exterior Interpretive Exhibitry- Project Example 1
Project Description
Serving as a designer for Fermata, Inc.–a consulting firm in Austin, Texas, working to create sustainable communities, recreation, tourism, and conservation–I designed 43 unique interpretive exhibits (75 total waysides and kiosks) along 120-mile National Scenic Byway 12 in southern Utah. These exhibits explore many of the intriguing cultural and natural history stories along the route, through landscapes varying from alpine forest to high desert redrock canyons. I designed the exhibits with
four distinct, but interrelated color palettes that reflect the changing tones of these
varied landscapes.
