Smugglers' Notch Scenic Highway

Project Description

 

Working with interpretive planner and writer, Alexandra Murphy, I designed 24 kiosk and wayside interpretive exhibits along the Smugglers’

Notch Scenic Highway between Jeffersonville and Stowe, Vermont. The exhibits focus on cultural heritage, natural resources, and recreational opportunities found along the Scenic Highway. Recreational opportunities draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Notch and surroundings each year. The exhibits 

enhance the visitor’s experience by providing directional and educational information about resources found in the vicinity.
