Exterior Interpretive Exhibitry- Project Example 1

Brighton State Park Universal Accessible Trail

Project Description

For this project I worked with interpretive writer, Alexandra Murphy, to write and design twelve 18”x24” interpretive panels along a universally accessible boreal forest trail. The panels included contour-shaped edges, map creation, and interpretation of the fragile boreal forest ecosystem. As a universally accessible trail,

we implemented audio pens, whereby blind visitors can listen to recordings of the interpretive text with background nature sounds such as a babbling brook and bird songs to enhance the interpretive experience.
